Just saw one news that someone could make colored photocopy of new Rs 2000 note.   How is it possible that simple technique which if used in new design should not lead to proper reproduction by photocopy which is now widely and easily available (it should even reproduce new copy with statements in English and Devnagari 'Fake copy' easily visible to lay people. In fact this technology should be used in all notes.     I was surprised when, I saw the news that a farmer in Karnataka was duped (this off course is important low level but very simple deterrence at grass root level for low tech hunters and predators)- I hope other hitech features are there in the new currency as claimed.
